It’s Friday, so it’s time for another round of our Friday Favorites! This week I have put the emphasis on travel, cute animals and of course some motivational quotes.
Travel
I love to travel and I was secretly still hoping that against all odds the Dutch travel restrictions to Turkey would be lifted so I could still travel upcoming week, but unfortunately that has not happened. That’s why I still want to daydream about traveling and why I’d like to share my embroidery travel favorites with you.
Let’s start off with this gorgeous embroidery hoop. It reminds me of Japan (which is another destination I was not able to visit due to COVID-19 back in June). Take a look at this artist’s Instagram, their work is amazing, their embroidery is like paintings.
I myself also made a Japan themed cross stitch project back in June.
The next embroidery hoop reminds me of a lazy Summer day (and also the Notebook. Anyone?).

Whenever I feel a little down, looking at photos of cute animals always cheer me up a bit.
