You might be thinking, ’embroidery art in the batrhoom? The bathroom is not a place to showcase your embroider!’. But there are different ways to decorate your bathroom with your cross stitch or embroidery art. We mentioned earlier that you can decorate your bathroom with your embroidery using your towels. This time, we’ll explore soap sachets.
But what are soap sachets
Soap sachets are used for soap bars that have not been used yet, so they would still be dry. You can for example place them in basket for when you’re having guests over or just use them to decorate your bathroom. There are sachets that are open-ended on one side. But we decided to cover a small soap bar in its entirety with cross stitch fabric. The main purpose is to use it as decoration. But they also of course have a nice, fresh smell. So you could also place it in your closet, between your clothes or linnen.
Our soap sachet
When we were making our soap sachet, we were mainly inspired by the Rituals Sakura line (Rituals is a Dutch cosmetic brand and their shower foams are divine). So, of course we went for pink small flowers which resemble cherry blossoms.
Although we cross stitched a smaller pattern, there are quite a few different colors involved as you may have seen. So, if you have just begun cross stitching and want to cross stitch a sachet of your own, it might be an idea to go for a simpler pattern. However, you also get in touch with us (our e-mail address is in the top left corner) to place an order and we’ll cross stitch them for you!
Don’t you think they go well together, the soap sachet and the Rituals products? Let us know in the comments below!
