A handmade table runner that will add a gorgeous touch to your living or dining room. I myself used to find table runners a bit outdated. However, after seeing some beautiful examples of how a table runner creates a beautiful table setting, I have become a fan of table runners. Which is why I wanted to take on the challenge and create a handmade cross stitched table runner.
For my first cross stitched table runner I chose a pattern that’s very popular on Instagram and Pinterest. It’s a pattern by the well-known ‘Les Brodeuses Parisiennes’. Of course it is, all of their patterns are just wonderful. You can find this pattern in number 18 of ‘Creation de Point de Croix’.
Of course you can also utilize your table runner in your living room. We thought it looked quite nice on our coffee table pictured above.
The table runner is approximately 45 cm wide and 150 cm high.
When I started cross stitching this table runner last year, I was still using 14 count Aida fabric. Because I have since then made the switch to 28 count linen fabric (read more about that here), I am planning to also cross stitch this pattern on linen fabric over the next couple of months.
We have also added this item to our Etsy page.
